Firearms Cleaner, Lubes & Protectant

My outfit has been carrying out a methodical, documented evaluation of firearm cleaners, lubes and protectants for about two years. Originally, FrogLube CLP was only available as a liquid and a paste. The lineup was recently expanded to include a dedicated solvent and pre-moistened wipes, covering all your firearm maintenance needs. Results have been nothing less than amazing. After thoroughly removing existing solutions and treating firearm parts with deep-penetrating FrogLube, we’ve been running two pistols, an AR and a VZ58 carbine — hard — and came to this conclusion: For firearms routinely exposed to the elements, dirt and debris, water and saltwater, and receiving little or no regular maintenance, FrogLube may be the best family of products available.

FrogLube is a bio-based, non-toxic, non-flammable formula; so safe, it’s rated “food-grade.” You can actually eat it, though I won’t recommend that. It’s safe on all coatings and plastic and rubber parts. I hate to use superlatives, but FrogLube’s ability to keep lubricating and protecting firearms way beyond the point where conventional CLP’s have failed is — awesome. Cost varies by product and size.
